Lamide brings extensive industry and leadership experience, having worked across multiple markets in Africa over the last decade. Lamide joined Glovo in 2021 as the Head of Q-commerce for Sub-Saharan Africa. In this position, she built Glovo’s marketplace business for groceries, health and retail as well as launched and scaled the company’s darkstores across the region.

Prior to joining Glovo, Lamide was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. She helped some of the largest companies in Africa & Europe develop and implement comprehensive strategies. She is passionate about scaling tech companies in Africa.  

Lamide holds an MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University College London.
