Sofia Zab has over 10 years of experience launching and scaling Africa-focused tech startups. She is the
CMO of PalmPay, one of Africa’s fastest growing fintechs with 35 million app users and 1.2 million
mobile money agents and merchants. To date, 1 in 5 Nigerians have transacted through PalmPay’s
platform via its smartphone apps and MSME network.
Prior to launching PalmPay as part of its founding team, she served as the Head of Marketing at mobile
lender Branch and at NYSC-listed eCommerce company Jumia. She has a BSc from the London School

Utari is an investment manager at E3 Capital. He has 9+ years of experience in private equity across Africa.
