Kemi Osinibi is a seasoned Chartered Management Accountant and serial entrepreneur who is redefining how Nigerian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) approach growth, structure, and sustainability. As the founder of Countam, Nigeria’s first accounting+ software, she combines deep financial expertise with practical business acumen to solve the critical data fragmentation problems that stifle SME expansion.
Kemi’s career is built on a foundation of high-level financial strategy. Before venturing into the Nigerian tech space, she honed her skils in the UK, working with FTSE 100 giants, where she learned the rigorous standards of global corporate governance. Upon returning to Nigeria, she applied this expertise across key sectors, including Healthcare and Oil & Gas, focusing on influencing strategic decisions rather than merely reporting historical numbers.
Her transition from corporate finance to entrepreneurship was driven by a desire to build. She is the founder MAXTIVITY, a premier family entertainment brand that has served over 400,000 families across Abuja and Lagos, where her experience managing complex operations, inventory, payrol, vendors, and assets, exposed the severe gaps in existing business tools available to Nigerian founders.
It was through her own entrepreneurial struggles that Kemi identified a widespread "invisible burden" facing Nigerian business owners: the lack of integrated, real-time financial visibility.

Frustrated by having to use disjointed tools for POS, payrol, and tax compliance or expensive foreign software unsuited to the local market, she built the solution she needed. Countam was born as an al-in-one platform designed specificaly for the Nigerian business environment.

Kemi operates on a simple but powerful philosophy: "When a business has clean numbers and solid structure, it grows; when it does not, it gets stuck."
Through Countam, she is democratizing access to the kind of "Virtual CFO" insights usually reserved for large corporations. Her software integrates Point-of-Sale (POS), inventory, tax logic (compliant with FIRS/LIRS), and payrol into a single hub. This approach alows business owners to answer fundamental questions such as Where is the money coming from? Which products are profitable? Without needing a background in finance.
Kemi Osinibi’s mission extends beyond software; she is building a "Zero Wahala" financial
ecosystem for African businesses. Her goal is to ensure that Nigerian SMEs can define their position, defend their decisions to investors and banks, and adapt quickly to economic turbulence.
