Tolulope Adetokunbo Adeyinka
Tolulope Adeyinka is a Chartered Banker and seasoned financial services and fintech executive with two decades of experience across Africa’s banking and digital payments ecosystem. Before joining Mastercard, he built a strong foundation in traditional banking through strategic roles at three of Africa’s most influential institutions — UBA, Ecobank, and FirstBank — where he led critical commercial, operational, and innovation‑driven initiatives.
Tolulope currently serves as Director of Acceptance, Crypto, and Fintech Enablers for West Africa and North‑West Africa at Mastercard, where he drives the expansion of digital payments, accelerates fintech enablement, and leads Mastercard’s crypto engagement strategy across the sub‑region. His work sits at the intersection of ecosystem development, strategic partnerships, and frontier innovation — connecting established financial institutions with emerging fintech disruptors.
Passionate about Africa’s fast‑evolving fintech landscape, Tolulope actively contributes to industry conversations by convening thought‑leadership platforms, roundtables, and knowledge‑sharing forums that bring together policymakers, investors, innovators, and global leaders. He believes strongly that coopetition — purposeful collaboration between traditional players and new entrants — will shape the next chapter of financial inclusion and digital transformation across the continent.
